Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental office administration and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Must check-in & check-out patients, answer telephone and verify personal information for billing purposes;
· Must be able to assist in showing students front office business operations;
· Attend meetings approved by SDM that require advancement of your profession;
· Must be responsible and accountable to supervise and manage a 10 -20 chair patient practice area;
· Must work in conjunction with the faculty & students to maintain patient flow;
· Must be able to take direction and receive assignments to help the dental students on a daily basis;
· Must be available for work during the hours assigned, for student instruction and practice development;
· Responsible for reporting EOD (End of Day) and balancing reports for the Director of Finance;
· Protect money, checks, credit cards and collect insurance information;
· Coordinate Dental materials Inventory with the Dispensary;
